Mupenzi Kayitare was a 20 year old young man. He and his two younger brothers Isaac and Safi are refugees from Rwanda, Africa. They recently arrived in America after surviving and escaping a difficult life of war. The three boys came alone without parents or any other relative. Optimistic, full of life and light they have been trying to "make it" in this new world. Bond together, they have been each other's support and pillar through out this transition. On thursday January 15, 2015, Mupenzi was riding his bicycle as his only means of transportation, and he was struck by a car and the driver did not stop (hit and run). A few hours later a by-passer found him lying by the road and called the ambulance and/or police. By the time he arrived at the Hospital he was in a Coma. This event made to the local evening news here in Wichita, KS. Mupenzi had been fighting for his life until Saturday, the 25th of January 2015 when he succumbed to his injuries (died). This is a fundraising for his funeral and other costs that his two younger brothers have to face. These boys have been here (USA) in less than two months. They are shocked, devastated and in need. In addition to adjustments of transitioning to a new country and continent without parents, they now have to face a harsh reality of their brother's death and expenses. Please do what you can, give from your heart and help Isaac and Safi to bear this burden. Every Penny donated will directly go to Isaac and Safi. Thank You for your support. |
