A man in Tanzania has been arrested after reportedly hiding his girlfriend in a cement pit for more than 8 months.
The man is reported to have kept the woman in a bid to use the woman in a ritual intended to bring him wealth.
The man’s neighbors tipped the Tanzanian police after they suspected that there was a human being in the pit.
The woman, said to be in her twenties told her rescuers that she used to survive on just two meals a week.
