A Kenyan native is one of three candidates have filed for two seats on Clayton Town Council in Delaware.
Nicholas O. Oloo is running for election along with the two incumbents, David Letterman and Mary Ellen DeBenedictis.
Mr Oloo’s platform hopes to establish policies and programs that will make the town of Clayton a great neighborhood, community and place to live in.
The election will be held on Tuesday, April 26 from 2 to 7 p.m., at Town Hall, 414 Main St.
The winner of the election will be in for a term of two years. He can also be re-elected for a second term.
Mr is a Pastor and also a case manager working with mental health patients with a non-profit organization in Delaware.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Panjab University), Bachelor of Science (Food and NutritionalSciences) (Delaware State University), Master of Ministry, (IICM ), Master of Foreign trade( Pondicherry University) and Doctor of Divinity (IICM) .
