KRA has seized two Range Rover Sport vehicles, illegally imported from the UK, at the Port of Mombasa.
The 40-foot container they were in had been declared as having bicycles, bales of clothes and six engines.
This was to keep the Kenya Revenue Authority from collecting more than Sh15 million revenue.
The vehicles were destined for Uganda but KRA officials intercepted them on Thursday during verification.
Regional customs coordinator Nicholas Kinoti said they were pursuing the Ugandan national who imported the cars.
Andrew Kagambo is suspected to be the mastermind in the smuggling of vehicles from Europe.
In January, KRA confiscated 40 containers of contraband goods at Compact Freight Systems in Miritini Mombasa.
