United States First Lady Melania Trump is set to visit Kenya as part of her four-nation tour to Africa in October.
Speaking in New York on Wednesday, Melania announced she will also visit Ghana, Malawi and Egypt in her first ever major solo international trip since becoming First Lady.
The First Lady described the four places she is poised to visit starting Monday as four "beautiful and very different" African countries.
She said she was looking forward to "take the message of my Be Best campaign to many of the countries and children throughout Africa."
The 48-year-old launched Be Best, an initiative that focuses on children's wellness and anti-bullying, earlier this year.
"Whether it is education, drug addiction, hunger, online safety or bullying, poverty or disease, it is too often children who are hit first, and hardest, across the globe," Trump said at a United Nations event on Wednesday.
"Each of us hails from a country with its own unique challenges, but I know in my heart we are united by our commitment to raising the next generation to be happy, healthy, and morally responsible adults," she told the crowd.
