US technology conglomerate, Cisco has appointed Kenyan Sally Kimeu as Country Leader and Regional Manager for its East Africa operations.
Cisco’s East Africa operations cover 10 countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, Djibouti, South Sudan, Somalia and Eritrea.
Ms. Kimeu will head the Cisco East Africa team to inspire sales growth and market expansion while articulating the company’s business value to customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders.
She was previously serving as Cisco’s Strategic Business Manager for the United Nations in East and Southern Africa as well as Egypt.

Prior to joining Cisco, Ms. Kimeu was the Enterprise Sales Manager and System Integrator and Relationship Manager for two ISP Organizations for six years.

Cisco, which is headquartered in San Jose, California, develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products.
