Kenyans in America, Start Planning a Voluntary Exit Strategy Just in Case Donald Trump Wins

My fellow Kenyans in America, after watching the crowd respond by saying "send them home" or "send them back" regarding undocumented immigrants during Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's RNC acceptance speech, it's time to start planning a voluntary exit strategy to go back home. Most of us are legal immigrants, others are Kenyan-Americas, others are out of status. Some of us regardless of our status, may decide to go back home.
It's time to work really hard. Save money. Avoid any temptation to spend money. That means staying away from Malls, Amazon, wedding fundraisers, pre-wedding parties, committee nominations, basically anywhere you are
expected to donate money Kenyan style. Budget for funeral fundraising, baby showers and Church donations. Hoard your dollars.
Plan a serious exit plan to go back home. If you don't want to go back to Kenya, research how to move to Canada of any other Western or African Country that welcomes immigrants.
If Trump wins, the future looks bleak for immigrants, and especially for people of African origin.
Start planning on how you would survive in Kenya after the election of Donald Trump. We have about 6 months until the inauguration, then maybe about a year before things head south.
Rekindle connections in Kenya. Learn how Kenya operates. Read about how Mpesa works. Open a bank account in Kenya. Join a Sacco. Join a Chama. Start a Chama with a few close friends as a source of capital. Research how you can start a business because chances of getting a job in Kenya are slim to none.
Buy a plot of land or home if you haven't already done so. Get an ID from the embassy while still here. Renew your passport. Research how to farm, in case you end up in Shags. Coming from America, you may actually like Shags life more than living in Nairobi.
Research how to start a business in Kenya while still in America. Most of the information is accessible online. Connect with those who have gone back. Have an emergency credit card that you can use while transitioning.
If Hillary Clinton wins, we will all breathe a sigh of relief, but in the meantime, let's plan as if Donald Trump will win.
At least we have a Country we can call home after the election of Donald Trump. Like the proverb says "East or West, home is best."

Ciku wewe! Wacha kushtua wasee. I wholly agree with advice on money - makes a lot of sense, Trump or no Trump. But remember that the
rhetoric spewed out during political campaigns is to fool the generally idiotic population who never seem to understand themselves nor their country. Fact is the US economy needs immigrants like you need
oxygen. This is the reason why, so many immigrants are still in the country despite spirited efforts by Obama to kick them out (deport them) It's a fact that US authorities know where each of us live and that if they wanted to, they could eject all of us in a matter of days. But they choose not to because they know their economy needs us. Unlike despotic
regimes elsewhere in the world, the US has a constitution and mature institutions of governance and one dumb president cannot dictate his opinion to the rest of the country. So, chill out folks but be smart with your dollars, just in case

Wacha zako wanjiku. Can you remember when Rubio blasted Donald Trump for hiring illegals to build one of his building in NY. He hire immigrants in FL to work for him while the locals are looking for work. Politicians will say anything that will make them win. Preaching water but drinking win. Who will milk the cows in upstate NY and pick the produce in CA? He will not want the usa economy to collapse under his watch
